Title: Theories of time
Post by: DaGreek on July 30, 2015, 08:58:31 pm

I have seen many arguments for the B-theory of time, and if the B-theory of time is true then there are major implications. The second premise of the Kalam cosmological argument would be false and thus the argument. Also, it would grant this argument true:

P1) If God created the universe, then the universe had a cause
P2) The universe can only have a cause if tensed facts exist
P3) Tensed facts do not exist
C1) Therefore, the universe does not have cause (from 2 and 3)
C2) Therefore, God did not create the universe (from 1 and C1)

I was wondering if you could post arguments for the A-theory of time and arguments against the B-theory of time. Also, if you see any objections besides to premise three of the atheistic argument could you post them? Thanks.
