On militant atheists and their intellectual strengths
« on: June 28, 2014, 11:51:22 am »
Hello.

I just had the immense privilege to interview historian, sociologist and Christian apologist David Marshall on MILITANT ATHEISTS and their arguments. I truly hope you'll appreciate it!

Have you ever wondered if Richard Dawkins and his followers might have conclusively demonstrated that all religions are dangerous delusions?
For discovering this, there is only one thing you can do. Click in and find out!  :D

(I hope you can forgive me for this pretentious, vain and shabby self-promotion).

Oh, and if you are an inborn warrior, feel free to join forces with me if the blog post comes under attack ;-)

I'm surprised people are still interested in New Atheism. They may have pointed out the many evils done in the name of religion, but any religious person could have done that equally well. On the topic of their atheism they offer nothing in the way of real intellectual content. Dawkins was the only one who even attempted to justify his atheism, and that is hardly worth mentioning.

As an atheist I'm embarrassed that they are the best known atheists. There are far better atheists out there who hold university positions who's interest is in the atheism-theism dialogue/debate and who have contributed far more. The New Atheists aren't even taken very seriously by a lot of atheists.
I'm an atheist.

Hello!

Oh yeah, the New Atheists are viewed as fundies by many Continental European atheists.

While I debunk them, I'm not pretending I've defeated atheism by any means.

Cheers.
