Resources on the Two-Minds Theory

Hello,

I'm wanting to write on the two-minds theory of the incarnation for an assignment in my Philosophy of Religion class. I have, of course, read Morris's book and the chapter on the subject in Philosophical Foundations For a Christian Worldview, but I was wondering if someone could direct me to journal articles and such that critically interact with the theory? Thanks!

By "two minds theory" do you mean specifically Morris's theory?  If so, the only thing that comes immediately to mind is John Hick's criticisms.  He has a couple chapters/papers on this, but where they are, I'm not sure.  They might be in one of his books on the incarnation.  I also want to say that Michael Martin had a criticism somewhere (maybe in his book arguing against Christianity?) but again, I'm not sure if this is correct.

Wow! This is something I would like to do in my philosophy of religion class. Unfortunately I'm forced to write on Hume

I found some articles on the two minds theory. One is a critique, the other is more of a review I think, but it may prove useful.

1) A Critique of Thomas V. Morris's Use of Natural Kind Terms in The Logic of  God  Incarnate

2) Review: by William H. Austin   (this is a JSTOR article. Since you're a university student, you should be able to access this article through the university library online.

3) Two minds theory   (this is a brief short review of the idea, followed by a listing of the main problems with it at the end.

These are just a few. Obviously there are more I'm sure in the major journals and in textbooks on this theory. To be honest though, I think you have a good assessment of the idea in Craig and Moreland's Philosophical foundations book. But it's always good to have other critiques. I hope that helped somewhat.

So, I was right.  Michael Martin criticizes Morris's two-minds view in his book The Case against Christianity.  John Hick also critiques Morris's view in his book The Metaphor of God Incarnate.
