Is God-man good?

"The world needed that of us, to maintain—by our example, by our very existence—a world that would keep learning and questioning, that would remain free in thought, inquiry, and word." - Alice Dreger

Depends.  If God man has never done a bad thing, told everyone to do good, and if he didn't tell people to 'destroy in his name' or that quote was taken out of context and misapplied, then yes, he is good.

Right.  "Captain equivocator to the rescue."

Why is it equivocation if that is the actual use of the text?

I mean, I don't consider found poetry in such a denigratory fashion.  Or is it that you just want to reject any possible explanation so as to maintain your own pre-formed bias regarding God-man's morality?

If so, why ask the question unless your post was purely rhetorical?

Oh, I see.  My bad.

I'll leave you alone now.

A man was shot.

Was he killed or murdered?

Do we lock up the shooter immediately?

Or do we ask for more info, a qualifier, or perhaps the context of the situation?

If not then all US soldiers who have killed should be locked up for life or perhaps sentenced to death.

I hope the previous issue was a comic explaining exactly what is good.  After all, how can you determine if God-man is a force for good unless  you first identify exactly what is good?
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain ...

Elucidation is now equivocation?
God willed both to reveal himself to man, and to give him the grace of being able to welcome this revelation in faith.(so) the proofs of God's existence, however, can predispose one to faith and help one to see that faith is not opposed to reason.

i just cant help but lol at the "God Man " cartoon, it seems so wrong to laugh at it and with it, surely the "God Man Fan club" is depicting obnoxious Christians beating up some one who doesn't read the bible .

I see depthcharge is utilizing captain equivocator! Classic poor Christian thinking.
I told her all about how we been livin' a lie
And that they love to see us all go to prison or die
Like, "Baby, look at how they show us on the TV screen"
But all she ever want me to do is unzip her jeans
