This is the Billie Eilish

Of the Craig-led Bond films, I would rank the No Time To Die theme somewhere near the bottom, with the Skyfall theme being at the top. Although, my personal favorite is You Know My Name sung by the late Chris Cornell.

Whaaaaaaat? I love No Time To Die.

But that’s probably because I’m less of a Bond fan and more of a Billie Eilish fan, lol.

Hmm, yes, No Time to Die is very restrained in general. I agree with you that it's not the strongest Bond theme. I like a bit more "punch" in Bond themes, personally. Also, her voice was a little too breathy; I like what she was going for but it was a bit too much.

I haven't seen the film yet... is Billie E. in the actual movie? It looks like it based on that music video. But that would be strange, since usually the singer is not also an actor in the film.

I like Skyfall, but I cannot stand the way Adelle is not able to hit that high note on the chorus every time. You could try to make a case that she was doing it stylistically, but I honestly think it would have been much stronger if she had been able to hit it, rather than barely missing and then sliding quickly back down again.

I'm a musician, so I have opinions about this stuff, can you tell? ;P

Oh, I also just noticed the joke with regard to the title. Good one :D

My 'scorecard' is based on the following, you get points for:

Using the name of the movie as the name of the song.
Using the name of the movie in the chorus.
Having lyrics that thematically relate to the plot of the movie.
Using the original Monty Norman theme in the song (either prominently or to reinforce the music).
Using the full orchestra and full band (electric) instruments.
If the singer belts out any notes.
If it ends with 'the spy chord.'

I disagree. I think the best ones put the movie titles, which are usually related to spy themes, into a completely different context, often erotic or romantic. The obvious examples are Licence to kill, Moonraker, A view to a kill, For your eyes only.

I can recall in 2008, people joked they were going to rope Shirley Bassey into singing, "IT'S THE QUANTUUUUUUUUUUM OF SOLAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!"
