I am the captain of an ocean-going tugboat. Most of my ministry activities take place while on the tugboat, though I am active in church in the Philipines. I usually have at least one book by Dr. Craig with me, one of which was a literary inspiration for a fellow captain who had fallen away from his faith when his son died some years ago, to renew his determination to follow Christ. On this occasion, it was Hard Questions, Real Answers. It had answered some very difficult questions he had, given him hope and inspiration, and he reported to me several months later that he was back in faith, doing great and that his wife (also a Christian) was very, very happy that he had returned to Christ actively. When at sea, I get online from a cellular/wireless modem, and and obtain much of my debate/apologetics material from online resources such as ReasonableFaith.org. Dr. Craig's online videos and debates I have downloaded have been a HUGE help, as well as the many audio lectures I have downloaded, which I sometimes fall asleep to at night...Not because they are boring, but because I certainly must sleep, and I don't want to forget anything that I hear in the lecture...Anyway, Dr. Craig is truly a gifted speaker, a rational, engaging and caring Christian apologist.
